Client Summary:
Our client is a key player in the recycling industry, focused on providing high-quality customer service and sustainable solutions. As part of the team, you'll support operations and customer engagement in a rewarding, fast-paced environment. This role offers a great opportunity for growth and development.

This will initially be a short-term opportunity 2/3 months with the potential for permanency after this period.

Duties include:

• Manage customer inquiries through phone and email, averaging 60-70 calls per day
• Process scrap purchases and arrange EFT payments
• Handle customer complaints and resolve service issues in a timely manner
• Assist in entering data and managing daily accounts
• Provide ongoing communication with customers about account statuses and payments
• Ensure training records are maintained and updated
• Collaborate with the Trading Team to meet customer needs
• Manage maintenance orders and ensure accurate processing
• Setup new customer accounts and raise purchase orders when required

Essential Criteria:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Familiarity with CRM systems, Trader Dash, and Weighbridge operations
• Ability to handle high-volume calls and multitask efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
