A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Supervisor on afternoon shift to lead day-to-day maintenance activities. In this hands-on supervisory role, you'll ensure plant and equipment operate safely and efficiently through proactive planning, team leadership, and continuous improvement practices.

The site plays a crucial role in supporting broader Manufacturing Operations, ensuring efficiency and reliability across the board. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead the maintenance team in both preventative and reactive maintenance tasks

  • Ensure compliance with WHSE systems, policies, and best practices

  • Prioritise and allocate maintenance work to support production goals

  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to plan maintenance activities

  • Coordinate third-party contractors and ensure all safety documentation is in place

  • Monitor team performance and support training and development

  • Assist in the implementation of Lean and continuous improvement initiatives



Qualifications & Experience:

  • Trade qualification in a relevant field (advantageous)
  • Experience in maintenance, production manufacturing, or a heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience in a leadership role with strong communication and supervisory skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and SAP systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to workplace health, safety and environmental standards.
