About the role:

Located in Mitchelton, this role involves supporting a female in her late 50s with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Bipolar Disorder. Our client is mostly independent however relies on support workers for assistance with general housework, accessing the community and companionship. We are currently looking for staff who can work full day shifts from 8am to 4pm. Due to the nature and complexity of this clients' needs, candidates must have relevant mental health experience.

Duties:

• General domestic work e.g. gardening, cleaning and cooking
• Assisting the client with daily planning
• Community access (via your own vehicle)
• Companionship and making conversation
• Supervision with mobility
• Caring for client's small dog

About you:

• Previous mental health experience (essential)
• Domestic skills
• Owns vehicle to drive client in the community
• Enjoys having conversation
• Patient and caring nature
• Current First Aid and CPR
• NDIS Worker Screening Card
• Rheumatoid Artritis knowledge and experience (desirable)
• Bipolar Disorder knowledge and experience (desirable)
