BRANCH MANAGER

YOUR ROLE

Oversee the operations of the Shepparton Branch, providing strategic direction and leadership to ensure alignment with the organization's goals. Manage local branch activities, including driving direct sales efforts and overseeing key service delivery functions.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

The ideal candidate is a proven professional who is highly motivated to leverage the existing brands, stock, supply chain, relationships and staff to aggressively grow the business. As the Branch Manager, they will have the ability to operate largely autonomously to manage all aspects of the branch, within the budgets and in line with goals & objectives set by the Head Office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct all duties professionally, adhering to workplace policies and legislation.
  • Implement sales strategies that align with the company's goals.
  • Lead and drive sales initiatives at the Shepparton Branch, identifying market opportunities.
  • Plan and execute Business Development and Marketing activities that support strategic objectives.
  • Clearly understand, set, and communicate customer contractual obligations to internal teams such as Sales, Service, Planning, Purchasing, and Warehousing.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services, knowing where to find necessary information for effective sales.
  • Ensure processes are accurate and complete, delivering high-quality results to stakeholders.
  • Serve as the main contact for external stakeholders, providing essential information and guidance on parts and equipment sales.
  • Manage customer and internal expectations by mitigating risks and providing excellent stakeholder service.
  • Foster a customer-focused culture within the Shepparton Branch, ensuring team alignment with company goals.
  • Provide accurate and professional quotations that form a solid basis for contracts and orders, clearly understanding customer requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by consistently delivering high-quality results and meeting targets.

  • Strong business sense and negotiation skills.
  • Skilled at identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.
  • Proven experience in managing teams with professional, sales, or trade expertise.
  • Knowledge in Fabrication, Mechanical, and Machining industries; expertise in Hydraulic Systems is highly valued.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with diverse individuals.
  • Strong at negotiating and building relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Takes responsibility for actions and department outcomes, ensuring high standards.
  • Applies focused problem-solving for quick and accurate resolutions.
  • Communicates key points clearly in writing and meetings.
  • Implements best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills, with experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Influences and fosters a positive workplace culture aligned with the company's mission, vision, and values.

QUALIFICATION

  • Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications /Sales Management /Leadership
  • Extensive experience in sales
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills
  • High-level Emotional Intelligence and people management skills.
  • Broad and effective written and verbal communication.
