Key Responsibilities:

• Precision Cutting: Operate band saws to cut aluminium and steel into various shapes and sizes according to detailed instructions.
• Efficient Operations: Perform cold saw cutting and nesting, ensuring precision and efficiency.
• Fabrication Support: Assist with a range of tasks including cutting, drilling, punching, folding, and grinding of metals.
• Forklift Operation: Handle a counterbalance forklift (preferred but not essential), and assist with loading and unloading trucks.
• Safety & Quality: Maintain a clean, safe workspace, adhere to health and safety standards, and conduct quality checks on products.

Experience & Skills Required:

• Fabrication Expertise: Experience in steel and aluminium fabrication; steel industry background is a plus.
• Saw Operation: Skilled in operating band saws and aluminium saws.
• Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret drawings and work orders with strong measurement skills.
• Energetic Attitude: Handle the demands of a busy fabrication environment with enthusiasm.
• Forklift Experience: Desirable but not mandatory; strong attention to detail and team spirit essential.
