About the role:
Our client is looking for a Despatch Coordinator to join our team at our Ingleburn Warehouse team.
You'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our despatch area. From managing paperwork to coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring safety compliance, your contribution will be vital to our success.
Key Responsibilities
Process despatch paperwork including stock transfers, deliveries, and customer pick-ups.
Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
Create shipments for orders requiring cartage and ensure accurate vendor payments.
Support daily despatch operations and ensure all team members follow site safety protocols.
Manage yard operations to meet truck turnaround times.
Deliver exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone.
Foster a proactive and collaborative working culture.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Cross-functionally support floor operations (including operating the forklift) when required.
What You'll Bring
A current and valid forklift licence.
A proactive, hands-on approach to your work.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
High attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement.
Proficiency in SAP, WMS, Excel, and Word preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build strong working relationships across teams.
A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
A team-focused, constructive attitude.
Integrity and the ability to perform well under pressure.
