About the Role:

You will support our female client, who is living at home with Multiple sclerosis (MS).

She requires additional support workers to join her wonderful team on a casual basis.

Our client has a 24/7 roster, morning, afternoon and sleepover shifts available!


Duties:

• Full assistance with personal care and manual handling
• Assisting and supporting our client in their home.
• Supporting the client in achieving their set goals for the day
• Providing true and authentic companionship to the client
• Medication administration and management

You must currently have:

• NDIS Worker's Screening Check
• Valid Australian Driver's License
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Medication Administration Certificate
• Certificate III/IV in Disability or other relevant qualifications

Skills and experience:

• Experience with providing personal care to clients with high needs - this includes bowel care and assistance with showering
• +6 month manual handling experience (using hoist machines)
• Must possess an approachable, calm and respectful demeanour
• Great attention to detail
• Be a reliable team player
