About the role:

Located in Booval, this role involves supporting a 45 year old gentleman who has a Traumatic Brain Injury. Our client requires full assistance with ADL's 24/7. Our client is visually impaired & requires 2:1 for all manual handling. The client does have behaviours so behaviour management will be in place. Currently recruiting for AM, PM and active night shifts. Due to the nature and complexity of this clients' needs, candidates must have relevant experience.

Your key responsibilities:

Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate Disability Support Worker who can undertake the following key responsibilities:

• ADL's
• Assistance with eating & drinking
• Manual handling
• Clinical notes
• Behavioural support
• Mental Health Support
• Medication

About you:

• Behavioural & Mental Health Support (Ideal)
• Manual handling certificate (Or willing to obtain)
• First Aid and CPR (Or willing to obtain)
• NDIS WSC
• NDIS Orientation Module (Or willing to complete)
• Nationally Accreditated Medication Certificate (Or willing to obtain)
• Industry Certificate

We are also looking for someone with great communication skills, who works well in a team, has a caring and supportive nature, and is client-focused.
