Our client is an IT Network Services company looking for an experienced Level 3 IT Technical Support Engineer to be responsible for the maintenance, overseeing and implementation of tailored IT solutions for their internal and external clients.



Duties and Responsibilities




  • Enhancing, analysing and development of data models and diagrams in the integration and configuration of computer systems.
  • Evaluating network operations and recommending improvements for integrated hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Researching, analysing, and monitoring network infrastructure to ensure networks are configured to operate at optimal performance.
  • Installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, and administering new and upgraded networks, servers, and workstations.
  • Continuous monitoring of network traffic activities and capacity to maintain network integrity and optimise its performance.
  • Onsite support and troubleshooting of both network and software issues.
  • Remote travel and overnight stay will be required during critical issues as part of the role.



To be successful in the role


  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience in Level 3 or advanced Level 2 IT Technical Support Engineer role.
  • Demonstrated experience in IT Networks & systems.
  • Understanding of systems and architectures to meet client needs.
  • Effective task management and documentation skills.
  • Solution focus, proactive approach, and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Time management, ability to prioritise and deliver on schedule.
  • Experience with N-Able and ConnectWise (desirable).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, background in MS365, Active Directory, Azure , Win 7, 8 and 10.
