THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to join their team in this full-time position in Hamilton, Queensland.

The HR Coordinator's purpose is to support and stimulate the constant improvement of HR processes and systems. This is achieved through continual analysis and consultation with employees, managers, and headquarters in determining an appropriate course of action consistent with the overriding corporate mission and philosophy. The HR Coordinator will be exposed to a very diverse and dynamic environment and will be encouraged to help define better ways of maintaining and distributing HR information.

DUTIES

• Responsible for hiring, training new and existing employees across Sales, Marketing, and IT.
• Assist with all functions related to recruiting for professional and technical positions.
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with area Universities with whom we would anticipate establishing an internship program.
• Develop and maintain effective employee relations.
• Run weekly payroll.
• Work with compensation plans.
• Verify the company is following regulatory and legal issues.
• Coordinate benefits.
• General office administration.
• Develop and educate employees about safety procedures.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• 1-2 years Human Resources experience.
• Experience in recruitment and payroll/administrative tasks.
• The ability to take direction and adhere to company processes.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to connect with key stakeholders across the business.
