Our client is seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join their high-performing maintenance team at their Somersby site. Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader or Manager, you will perform a range of maintenance and fault-finding duties to support reliable operations across the manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventative, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance on all electrical systems
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults to minimise downtime
  • Support process improvement initiatives to increase production efficiency
  • Complete work orders and maintenance tasks within WHSE guidelines
  • Assist with the development of maintenance plans and procedures (PMs/AFPPs)
  • Coordinate and supervise electrical contractors and ensure site compliance
  • Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards at all times
  • Participate in maintenance shutdowns and improvement programs

Requirements:

  • NSW Electrical Trade Licence
  • Strong experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and fault diagnosis
  • Familiarity with SAP or CMMS for work orders and asset management
  • Elevated Work Platform, Forklift Licence, and First Aid certifications desirable
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated commitment to WHSE compliance and safety culture
  • Experience with lean principles and process improvements is an advantage
