Dispatch Coordinator Opportunity
$35-$40/Hr + Super

Drake International is proud to partner with a leading supplier and fabricator of reinforcing steel.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Despatch Coordinator. Reporting to the Despatch Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing freight, despatch, and logistics activities to ensure safe, timely, and efficient delivery of products.

• Dispatch Coordinator: 10:00am - 5:30pm
  (Role is based in Noble Park, flexibility required to work until 6pm and occasionally cover Day Shift 5:00am to 1:00pm)

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating dispatch and freight activities to meet delivery schedules and KPIs.
• Liaising with planning teams, operations staff, and external freight providers.
• Monitoring delivery performance, freight costs, and yard wait times.
• Identifying and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensuring all activities comply with company safety standards and procedures

About You

• Experience in dispatch, logistics, or freight coordination.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and manage competing priorities.
• Knowledge of construction or manufacturing industries (preferred).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
