The In- Store Tailor, ShoeMaker is responsible for extending the life of products through Repairing and Remaking services, aligned with the sustainability strategy. The Tailor is able to inspire, anticipate, and respond to customer needs and wishes, building long-lasting customer relationships and ensuring a high level of customized experiences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Client Experience
- Offer a warm welcome to clients, making everyone feel part of the global community.
- Provide personalized tailoring services to craft distinctive pieces that meet the customer's desires and contribute to extending the lifespan of each product and the associated memories.
- Deliver a comprehensive suite of clothing repair and alteration services, including hand embroidery, typographic embroidery, machine embroidery, patch application, crystal or stud application, basic alterations and tailoring, button replacement, adding pins, and brooches.
- Develop and showcase a catalog featuring unique embroidery designs and examples of customized products, inviting customers to explore the possibilities of personal expression through fashion.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on bespoke services, empowering customers to make choices that best reflect their individuality and style.
- Collaborate with the team in sales, pre- and post-sales activities (including stock management and customer loyalty), and in general, contribute to all store-related activities.
- Ensure customers are properly registered in the app for effective customer segmentation and profiling.
Brand & Product
- Passionately convey the brand's vision and heritage to clients, representing its values authentically.
- Infuse the brand's identity in co-created items consistently and respectfully.
- Maintain the tailoring area in pristine condition, adhering to visual merchandising standards.
Operations & Compliance
- Assist with store operational procedures, including opening/closing, inventory management, and maintaining compliance with GDPR and health & safety standards.
- Utilize IT and digital tools effectively to enhance business processes and customer engagement (app, sales force, Xstore, Stealth).
Job Requirements
- Good level of English.
- Sales experience: Previous experience in retail or customer service is considered an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and engage thoughtfully.
- A problem solver who can identify issues, evaluate solutions, and make informed decisions.
- Effective time management, prioritizing tasks efficiently.
- Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of the business and customers.
