This is a FIFO position based in Queensland, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a significant Capital project in the mining sector.

Your Role:

As the Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you will be the powerhouse driving the electrical engineering aspects of a major mining capital project. Your responsibilities will include:

• Offering project electrical engineering support and interfacing with key personnel on-site.
• Leading electrical engineering support resources within the project team.
• Design review, scope development, and execution of electrical engineering strategies.
• Championing electrical safety, quality assurance, and compliance in line with industry best practices.
• Engaging with various stakeholders, from superintendents to safety representatives, ensuring clear and effective site communication.
• Providing mentorship and development opportunities for junior engineers.

What We Need From You:

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Over 10 years of experience in infrastructure and mineral processing industry projects.
• At least 5 years of experience in multidisciplinary infrastructure works.
• Proficiency in high voltage applications and installations.
• CPEng & RPEQ qualifications are a bonus but not esential.
