About Drake and the opportunity:

Are you seeking a fresh challenge? I've got an amazing opening for a Customer Service Representative in Yatala QLD. If you're skilled in Customer Service, have a great telephone manner and have basic maths skills, this opportunity is tailor-made for you. We are looking for candidates who are available to interview immediately and commence work on Monday 15th April if successful.

Your responsibilities:

  • Answer customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing information on products, pricing, and installation processes.
  • Data Entry of newly manufactured products into the system.
  • Utilise mapping software to map out and create quotes and proposals for clients.
  • Support the sales team to generate accurate quotes and proposals for potential projects.
  • Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, and specifications.
  • Use Microsoft Dynamics GP to manage customer accounts, track payments, and maintain records.
  • Assist with scheduling freight and coordinating with the warehouse.
  • Housekeeping duties - putting the dishwasher on, making coffee for meetings, keeping the office tidy.

The successful candidate must demonstrate the following skills:

Customer Service Excellence:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers by answering inquiries, addressing concerns, and offering expert guidance on turf solutions.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions to ensure a positive customer experience.

Excellent Phone Manner:

  • Possess excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and potential customers. Handle incoming and outgoing calls efficiently, demonstrating patience and attentiveness.

Basic Math Skills:

Perform basic mathematical calculations to assist in pricing, quoting, and invoicing for turf installations. Ensure accuracy in estimating costs and providing quotes to customers.


  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and helpful demeanour.
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic math skills for pricing and quoting purposes.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with mapping software, particularly Nearmaps, is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or sales support role is preferred.
  • Normal hours will be 8am to 4pm, office located in Yatala.
  • Flexibility when needed to cover sick/holidays.
