As the Regional Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in charting the course for our client's strategic development and overseeing all labour-based projects within the state. Your role will be pivotal in driving operational efficiency, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, and spearheading process improvements.

SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE

  • Build and drive an operational excellence strategy leveraging all relevant resources.
  • Write and deliver strategic business plans by including relevant stakeholders and drawing on market expectations.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and development of the operational teams.
  • Work in close unison with the General Manager - ANZ on strategic and tactical initiatives.
  • Build outstanding relationships with all CRMs, site managers and regional managers through superior influencing skills.
  • Establish and build process improvement in all facets of business operations.
  • Identify systems improvements and engage subject matter experts.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Team & relationship builder and developer (advanced leadership, communications & mentoring qualities).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience in managing significant operations e.g. as a General Manager or State Manager - min 5 years, leading a large workforce (300+).
  • Service industry experience in related / relevant services industries - ideal.
  • Experience in Cleaning and/or Security services at a senior management level - advantage.
  • Prior track record in building and developing a team, driving culture and motivating your extended team.
  • Ability to lead, educate and develop direct reports (managers and their teams).

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of union and statutory requirements pertaining to operations, e.g.: Workcover, Awards, EEO & Diversity laws, statutes, regulations etc.
  • Knowledge of the market and operational environment
  • Understanding of the major factors influencing customer/client behavior
  • Very sound knowledge of industry standards
