About the role

Drake Medox are currently recruiting calm, respectful & experienced Disability Support Workers, with a genuine passion for the industry to work within our already established team located in Campbelltown. We are seeking Support Workers to assist our client to live as independently as possible in their own home. Immediate start for the right candidate with training and buddy shifts provided. We are searching for candidates that will be able to work varied shifts including short early AM shifts and short PM shifts.

Duties

• Ventilator & Tracheostomy Care
• Bowel Management & Catheter Care
• Manual Handling
• Personal Care
• Medication Administration
• Domestic Assistance
• Companionship and Social Support
• Community Access

About You:

• Genuine passion, care, and aptitude for assisting individuals living with a disability.
• Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain one)
• NDIS Screener Check
• Valid Australian Driver's License
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Certificate III in Disability or other relevant qualifications or experience
• Current Manual Handling Certificate
• Current Medication Certificate
• Must be physical capable of providing manual handling support such as bed transfers using a lifter and supported movements, allied health led therapy programs, etc.
