ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is flexible and only requires the successful applicant to work 3-4 days per week. The Bid Writer is 360 in nature, meaning you will be accountable for not only writing the content but also coordinating the bid process, tender compliance requirements and stakeholder management, to ensure all deadlines are met. Working across the organisation's national service lines, this role is diverse and will offer you variety, accountability, and autonomy.

Tasks and responsibilities, but are not limited to:

  • Develop new content through internal research and apply existing library material to tender and proposal submissions tailored specifically for each individual response
  • Provide advice to the sales and consulting teams on using proposals effectively to clients
  • Prepare proactive proposals that reflect Drake's professional approach to doing business and reinforce our client value proposition
  • Assist with the preparation and ongoing update of the Drake corporate tender & proposal library
  • Prioritise project tasks to meet timeframes and submission deadlines
  • Edit and review content for accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with the development of client presentations and other ad-hoc projects
  • Ensure the consistency of information and presentation quality for all responses
  • Develop copy for presentation materials to support the sales process
  • Working with marketing to help write content for newly developed collateral used by the sales team
