Our client has been in operation in Australian market for the last 20 years and is one Australia's top 10 and fastest growing supermarket retailers in the country that pride themselves on being good, different.

They are looking for hard-working casuals to join their team of container unloaders to assist with manually unloading all the containers that come through their warehouse across 2 departments - shift times will vary depending on when all the containers are emptied and completed - you will need to flexible to finish when the work the is done:

  • Ambient: 6:15am-3:15pm
  • Chiller: 7pm-12am

The Role:

As part of the Prestons container unloading team, you will work with a highly motivated and physically fit team to manually unload grocery and special buy products from the containers.

This role is a great opportunity to learn more in the Warehousing industry as you will be required to use an Electric Pallet Jack, palletise, and shrink wrap the products ready for storage in the Warehouse.

  • Manually unload 20-40ft Containers
  • Wrapping pallets for storage
  • Operating Electric Pallet Jack (training provided)
  • Cleaning of dock area and containers
  • General Housekeeping of Dock area

Essential Criteria:

  • Physically fit - you will be manually unloading the containers repetitively in teams of 3-4 casuals per container
  • Able to work consistently and repetitively
  • Able to work autonomously and as a part of a team
  • Able to follow instructions
  • Own transport is ideal as shifts start at 7pm
  • Must be available 5 days a week - Monday to Friday
  • Must be comfortable working in a chilled environment
  • You will be required to work until the containers are unloaded - shifts may be shorter or longer than the rostered finish time
  • Comfortable working in a Chiller environment
